Binny is a label founded with the purpose of making women feel their best, and this ethos echoes through our determination to minimise our impact on the planet and people. We are conscious of our responsibility as a business to continually improve our practices in order to protect the environment and the people in our supply chain whose skills bring our designs to life.

We are committed to using materials made from natural fibres such as linen and cotton for the majority of our collections. Wherever possible, we prioritise mono materials in order to make it easier to recycle a garment at the end of its life cycle.

We design each style in the hope that you will wear it for as long as possible. We intend for every Binny piece to be a classic statement that is brought out over and over again. We are meticulous about quality and our clothing is designed not only for enduring appeal but crafted for longevity - nothing brings us greater joy than seeing someone wearing past-season Binny. As a label entering our 15th year of operation, we are thrilled to see customers restyling previous-season pieces and engaging with circular fashion through our thriving Binny Buy, Swap, Sell page on Facebook. We have developed long-standing, close relationships in our supply chain. We produce the majority of our collections with a family-run factory in India who we have worked with since we launched, as well as sourcing the majority of our fabric from their family-run mill. Our main woven factory and our knitwear factory in India are both BSCI certified. We also work with a factory in China on our cotton jersey pieces. We will soon be moving the entirety of our production to India so all of our collections are manufactured in one country in an effort to minimise the impact of shipping.

We firmly believe details matter. We use compostable & biodegradable packaging for all online orders and are currently sourcing non-toxic biodegradable clear plastic bags to use for delivering orders to our wholesale customers.

Binny is a label created with a deep love for Australia. Our head office is on Kaurna land where we pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging. Binny acknowledges Indigenous Australians as the traditional owners of the country, and we recognise the deep connection to the land the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia have held for over 65,000 years.

We value honesty and know that transparency is the future of fashion. We understand that there is so much more that Binny, and the wider fashion industry, still need to do. We will share updates on our evolving journey of sustainability and ethical production, and continue to always strive for positive change.
