Romancing of the Fig. 
The fig is regarded as one of the staples of life and a symbol of abundance and prosperity. In some cultures gifting figs is a way to wish fruitfulness upon one another. 
Once upon a time, long ago, a small fig tree sapling was planted as a food source for the first settlers of Kangaroo Island. 
Now, 120 years later, its colossal gnarled limbs and shimmering leaves have formed an enchanting dining location.
