Maggie Beer has often said she “owes so much to the Barossa; the beauty of the region, the richness of its produce, the belonging, and the sense of community, with such a collective pride in this special part of the world”. We were lucky enough to meet her once. She has such a twinkle in her eye, a sense of fun & warmth. Undoubtedly you sense the inner steel & simultaneously be starstruck by her charisma. She is a true icon. And how dare we mention our skirt in the same breath. But it’s pretty much the icon of the collection. This print is just so special. And tiers of cotton poplin hand painted cottages, quince trees, pheasants & palms. We feel the same way about this special place in our home state. An elastic back waistband for grazing platters & a giant grosgrain ribbon for an element of extra. So much fun.
