A clipper was a type of mid-19th-century merchant sailing ship, designed for speed beginning in the 1850s for the tea trade. Intended to "clip" over the waves rather than plough through them, just like you in this dress. Clipping daintily through the crowds serving cucumber sandwiches & cups of tea smiling gaily. Totally unlike your normal self ploughing through the supermarket in your trackies.

Perfectly panelled in contrast broderie lace, and finished with sweet scalloped edge lace trim falls to just on the knee (REPEAT! Not as short as shown). Comes with a lace trim tie belt to either wear with or without. In stretch poplin this is a perfect transeasonal little blue & white dress for March weddings, winery weekends, wonderful long lunches with friends. Just add a spray tan & fresh hair.

Please use the following as a guide to help you decide which size to buy.

NOTE

Values given are body measurements. To help you choose the best size, we recommend that you compare the measurements with your own.

Overall, we offer a more generous fit. If you are in between sizes we recommend you go down a size.

If your measurements are not consistent with a single size, use your waist measurement to determine your ideal size.

How to measure

1. Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level to the floor.

2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline (the smallest part of your waist).

3.Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Slim-hipped ladies can take this measurement from 20cm/8in below the waistline.
